There are a variety of meaningful ways to support OLLI at UNL through charitable giving. Your donation is managed through the NU Foundation, where it is carefully invested to generate income through interest, dividends, and other investment gains—maximizing the impact of your generosity.
When you contribute to an endowment fund (via check, Required Mandatory Distribution, Qualified Charitable Donation, or Donor Advised Fund) your gift is preserved in perpetuity and invested across a diversified portfolio. This creates a dependable, long-term source of funding that helps ensure OLLI at UNL can continue to enrich lives for generations to come.

PILLAR SOCIETY ENDOWMENT
The Pillar Endowment is a “catch all” endowment used to benefit and support OLLI at UNL and spent at the discretion of the OLLI Director.

DR. DEANNA BAXTER EVERSOLL ENDOWMENT
This endowment is used for such things as conference travel expenses for volunteers and staff, as well as course materials, and opportunities that provide enrichment and enhancement of OLLI programming.

SIDNEY HAHN CULVER EDUCATION FOR SENIORS EXCELLENT ENDOWMENT
This endowment is used to pay for such things as course materials, equipment, keynote lecturers, and student scholarships.

OLLI LIFELONG LEARNING PROGRAM ENDOWMENT
This endowment is used at the discretion of the OLLI director to “exclusively benefit OLLI.”
